Ordering Timeslots

There are 3 variations among which a brand can chose to have their Timeslots in one of the kind.

1.  Order Now and  Order Later with slots.

User interface: Customers can order here for any of the current or pre-ordering slots configured.

Configuration: The multiple slots have to be configured and associated at the Ordering Timeslots of the store.

Example: A store has slots 0900-1200, 1200-16001600-2000 hours.

  1. Login to the Quint Portal.
  2. Navigate to CONFIGURATION > Groups > Timings
  3. Click on Add Timing Group 
  4. Add in Tittle & Current Active Mode as Slot Timings
  5. Save It
  6. Under Timings, add in the different slots for the day and hit Save.




2. Order Now and  Order Later with time picker.

User interface: The Customers can pick the time within the slot configured. 

Configuration: Here the slots has to have the opening and closing time of when the store is open for placing orders.

Example: A store is open for ordering from 1100 hours to 0200 hours the next day.

  1. Login to the Quint Portal.
  2. Navigate to CONFIGURATION > Groups > Timings
  3. Click on Add Timing Group 
  4. Add in Tittle & Current Active Mode as Slot Timings
  5. Save It
  6. Under Timings, add in the 2 slots for the day which are 1100-2359 & 0000-0200 and hit Save.


3. Custom message

User interface: The display message here can be configured and the order can be placed anytime within the slots configured. 

Configuration: The slots here would be when the store is open for ordering and the order can be placed for that period only.

Example: A store is open to take in orders all the 24 hours of the day as they have customized the text for the customers at the checkout. 

  1. Login to the Quint Portal.
  2. Navigate to CONFIGURATION > Groups > Timings
  3. Click on Add Timing Group 
  4. Add in Tittle & Current Active Mode as Slot Timings
  5. Save It
  6. Under Timings, add in the slots for the day which is 0000-2359 and hit Save.


Miscellaneous

  • If you need a alteration in the kind of Ordering Timings, please drop an email to UrbanPiper Support team with the version type you need among the above.
    Why should you drop an email to the Support?
    The timings on Quint would be configured by the brand while the flag to one of the version above on the platform front-end would be enabled in the back-end of the codebase by the Support team.

  • In Case of Order Now & Later, they are displayed until there's a time period to order for the present day, once done only Order Later can be seen for the future ordering dates.

  • In Tesla, there's a flag to display the store closed message on the landing page. This flag is disabled by default. In case your brand needs the store closed display message to be seen, please drop an email to UrbanPiper Support team.
